Wyjup Collection Plantagenet Wines

‘crafted from the finest parcels of fruit’

Plantagenet Wines is proud to announce the second limited release of its luxury range of wines known as the Wyjup Collection.

The 2018 vintage Cabernet Sauvignon, 2018 Shiraz and 2019 Riesling are to be released in the last week of September 2020 to join the 2017 Blanc de Blancs, the 2018 Pinot Noir and the 2018 Chardonnay still currently available.

First launched in 2019 they are the most refined and prestigious wines Plantagenet produces each vintage. It is a celebration of its pioneering history as the oldest winery in the Great Southern region and pays respect to the indigenous culture of the area.

The Wyjup Collection is crafted from the finest parcels of fruit from Plantagenet’s five pioneer vineyards totalling 126 hectares. The vineyards were first planted in the Mount Barker sub-region of the Great Southern, Western Australia commencing with Bouverie (1968) followed by Wyjup (1971), Crystal Brook (1988), Rocky Horror (1999) and Rosetta (2001). Each vineyard has unique characteristics, ancient soils and a cool maritime climate creating expressive wines of provenance, quality and prestige.

Selected new vintages will be released in limited quantities exclusive to wine club members, cellar door and a small number of fine restaurants and premium retailers.
