2019 Plantagenet Angevin Riesling – Huon Hooke – 95 Points “Light, bright yellow colour, with a lifted mandarin, gardenia and honey fragrance, positively Germanic. A lovely array of fresh and dried flowers. The palate is delicate and intense at the same moment; refined in its texture and long, with crystalline purity and refreshing properties that linger. It’s not too dry but has a faint lick of sweetness at the core. An excellent wine.”

Sam Kim, Wine Orbit – 95 Points

2017 Plantagenet York Chardonnay – Toni Paterson, The Real Review – 92 Points “A powerful chardonnay with a full-fruited palate and nutty sulfides. Decanting is recommended to harmonise the elements. The wine has great intensity and personality”

Silver Medal – Wine Show of WA

2017 Plantagenet Lancaster Shiraz – Sam Kim – 95 Points “This is gorgeously fruited and perfumed on the nose showing dark plum, blackberry, cake spice, game and cedar characters, leading to a wonderfully flavoursome palate that’s supple and rounded. The wine offers terrific fruit power together with a silky texture and fine-grained tannins, making it immensely appealing.”

2017 Plantagenet Aquitaine Cabernet Sauvignon – Sam Kim – 96 Points “This is wonderfully fruited and magnificently styled; the bouquet shows crème de cassis, tobacco, cedar, warm spice and violet aromas, leading to a concentrated palate that offers outstanding depth and focus together with refined mouthfeel and layers of fine chalky tannins. Harmonious, seamless, classically structured and immensely appealing. At its best: now to 2032.”
